Gong Zheng is currently a research fellow at the Risk Management Institute (RMI) in National University of Singapore (NUS).
Prior to joining RMI as a Research Fellow, she was an Instructor at the Department of Mathematics in NUS, teaching Financial Mathematics and Operations Research. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance and her PhD in Mathematics from NUS. Her PhD research focused on numerical optimisation and its applications to image processing and statistical learning. Currently, she is particularly interested in data analysis and modelling using nonparametric approaches.
