I joined SUTD in June, 2016 and presently working with Prof. Stefano Galelli. We are developing an optimization based decision making tool for the large scale deployment of check-dams to control the soil erosion. Prior to this position, I finished a short-term Research Associate position in Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kharagpur where I investigated vegetated open channel turbulent flow. I completed my doctoral degree from the Department of Mathematics, IIT Kharagpur where I did theoretical and numerical investigations of sediment transport in fluvial environment.
